4 DIY Hair Masks

Girlssss (and guys) if you want fleeky hair then try someone these!!!! 

1. Eggs

Eggs have high levels of protein and are rich in zinc, sulphur, iron, phosphorus and iodine, all of which help to grow new hair.


  • 1 egg
  • 1 Teaspoon of Olive Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon of Honey


  • Separate white from eggs.
  • Add 1 teaspoon each of olive oil and honey to the eggs white.
  • Mix and apply to your hair.
  • Let it sit for about 20 minutes.
  • Rinse it off with cool water and apply shampoo to your hair.
  • Repeat at least once every 2 weeks.

Tip: You can only apply egg white if other ingredients are not available.

2. Potato Juice

Potatoes are rich in calcium, iron, potassium and protein which help to make your hair to grow longer and stronger.



  • 2 potatoes


  • Squeeze the juice from 2 potatoes (use a juicer if you have one)
  • Apply the juice to your hair and scalp.
  • Leave for 15 minutes before rinsing off.

Tip: This remedy is especially helpful to those suffering from thinning hair.



  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 egg
  • Honey


  • Mix one cup of potato juice with egg white and a little honey.
  • Mix it well and apply to your hair.
  • Leave for 2 hours before rinsing your hair with a mild shampoo.

3. Banana

Bananas contain potassium and vitamins A, E and C which helps your hair to grow faster.


  • 1 Banana


  • Mash a banana to make a paste.
  • Massage this onto your scalp and into your hair.
  • Cover your hair with a plastic bag or shower cap.
  • Leave for 45 minutes before washing off with shampoo.
